Cremation Services

The number of people choosing cremation has increased significantly in recent years, yet it remains a respectful, time-honored tradition. A common misconception is that cremation means you cannot have a funeral or visitation—this is not true as we actually encourage a memorial to celebrate the life of the deceased. Families can still hold meaningful services, whether traditional or contemporary, before or after the cremation.

Cremation actually offers more choices: ashes may be scattered, buried in a family plot, or kept in an urn or keepsake. Services can be simple or elaborate, traditional or unique, and personalized to honor the life of your loved one.

TYPES OF CREAMATION SERVICES

CREMATION WITH A FULL FUNERAL SERVICE

This service will be just like a Complete Funeral Service except cremation will follow instead of the casketed burial. Following the viewing, service or ceremony, and eventual cremation, the cremated remains can be buried, properly scattered, or returned to the family for safe keeping. Urns are used to hold the cremated remains. Urns can be constructed out of basic materials like cardboard or plastic, or constructed out of more protective materials like basic and semi-precious metals, ceramics, and woods.

IMMEDIATE CREMATION WITH A MEMORIAL SERVICE

The immediate cremation service is often followed by a memorial service, which can be held at a church, funeral home, or another location that holds special significance for you. A memorial service does not include the physical presence of the body, but may feature a photo or the cremains, offering a thoughtful way for family and friends to gather and celebrate the life of your loved one. This option includes the cremation itself, along with the flexibility to include personalized services, such as a visitation, ceremony, or tribute. We are here to help you create a customized service that honors your loved one.
