CONTACT FERGUSON MORTUARY
In cases where the deceased's estate is responsible for funeral expenses, we request that a family member assume financial responsibility and seek reimbursement from the estate.
Payment Policy:
After the arrangement conference, you will receive a contract that itemizes the goods and services you have selected.
Payment in full is due 72 hours prior to funeral services.
For cremation services, payment in full is due 48 hours prior to cremation.
Accepted Payment Methods:
We accept the following payment methods for your convenience:
Cash, Debit Card and Verified Check Payments (Cashier’s Checks and Money Orders).
Credit Card Payments - We accept all major credit cards.
(A 4% processing fee will be applied to the total balance for credit card payments.)
Electronic Funds Transfers.
Life Insurance Policies:
Your life insurance policy can be used to cover funeral expenses under the following conditions:
The beneficiary provides consent to Ferguson Mortuary.
The policy is verified and all required documentation is signed before the funeral.
The policy is assignable and payable directly to Ferguson Mortuary.
The policy must be non-contestable; policies less than 2 years old or within the contestable period will not be accepted.
(If you choose to use a life insurance policy, there is a processing fee of 5% of the total contract amount involved for this, and will be added to the total charges on your statement of funeral goods and services.)
Estate:
In cases where the deceased's estate is responsible for funeral expenses, we request that a family member assume financial responsibility and seek reimbursement from the estate.
Pre-need Policies/Prearranged Funeral Policy:
We honor pre-need/prearranged funeral policies issued by other funeral homes. If you have a pre-need/prearranged policy from another provider and wish for Ferguson Mortuary to honor it, please contact us so we can review your policy.
Please note: Certain policies may involve an additional fee of up to 8% of the contract total, deducted from the policy's benefit amount. If your policy falls under this category, we will inform you and seek your consent before proceeding.
Financing Options:
We work with multiple lenders across the U.S. to get you the most competitive lending rates. Viewing the offers available to you doesn’t affect your credit, so you can see all the options you have for loan amounts and repayment terms.
